This vintage coffee grinder/coffee mill grinder is marked and made by Armin Trosser ,West Germany. .
The body is made from a blond colored hardwood. The crank and top piece are steel. The crank has a large wooden knob. The coffee grinder has a bottom drawer to hold the coffee once ground. The steel top turns and opens to add the coffee beans.
These were known as burr grinders
It measures 8.5-inches tall to the top of the handle. The base measures 4 3/8-inches X 4 3/8-inches square. To the top of the grinder (without the handle) it stands 5.25-inches tall.
The grinder is in good condition with a nice layer of lacquer on the surface - some wear on the wood from use and age, adding to its rustic appearance. The steel parts are in good condition with lots of surface tarnish. The handle turns beautifully.
