This is the classic folktale of The Little Red Hen. The story is a cautionary tale about how we reap what we sow.
When the hen asks a duck, cat, and dog for help planting some wheat, she gets no takers. They won't cut, thresh, or mill the wheat . . . or help bake bread with it, either.
This book is filled with colorful pictures and lessons
It is in good vintage condition free from rips or staining. The inside cover has an erased penciling of the original owners name.
It comes with it's original dust jacket which has bright colors of green and red depicting who else but the Little Red Hen
The dust jacket has rubbing and tears to the edges as can be seen in pictures due to use and age. The outer /upper corner of the book has a seam tear which can be seen in pictures but does not effect the binding
