This antique porcelain vase has an exquisite courting scene painted and signed by Madame Elisabeth Marie Vigee Lebrun who was a famous French portrait artist.
The scene is surrounded by a scrolled gold gilt and the body of the vase is a warm russett color.
There are no chips or cracks, mild rubbing to the bottom edge due to use and age, mild staining at the top edge which can be seen in pictures
It measures 9" x 4" x 2 1/2"
