Vintage Style Tin/Metal Advertising Sign
This is a very cool vintage style tin/metal advertising sign from the Mummert Sign Co, USA.
It touts 'You'll Enjoy Our After Dinner Specials" in bold colors of red and blue with a creamy beige background.
It was probably behind the counter of a diner or restaurant enticing customers to order a slice of pie!!
It measures 11 1/2" x 11 1/2"
This rustic metal sign was made in the United States by the artisan Marty Mummert. The sign measures 11.5" square. Utilizing 24 gauge steel the sign is printed by silk screening. The edges are grinded and then bathed in a mild acid bath to create an authentic aged rust effect. Due the individual creativity to each sign, all his signs are unique and of a limited production and all completed by Marty.
The back has some water rusting but seems to wipe clean with a small amount of effort.
