This vintage Saraka Laxative Granules For Constipation Lidded Lithograph Tin was Made In The USA by Schering Corporation of Bloomfield, New Jersey in 1939.
It is in good condition with minimal wear, rust or dents.
This orange tin is a eye catcher and fun advertising decor
Measuring approximately 3 3/4" tall, approximately 2 1/4" wide and approximately 1 1/4" deep, this tin features the "New label adoped June, 1939" and states that Saraka "contains Bassorin Frangula For Constipation" and comes with the Good Housekeeping Seal !!
With advertising campaigns that told Americans to "keep in shape and win health with Saraka", asked "Constipated? Saraka for more natural elimination" and appealed to the active lifestyle of many wealthy americans with slogans like "Swing to Saraka and feel new", "Get back to par" and "Exercise helps keep her regular, what about you?", Schering produced this popular home medicine that was known as the laxative that fills the gap in your daily diet.
