This vintage 1931 Mickey Mouse coloring book # 871 by Walt Disney Studios is quiet rare
The pictorial softcover shows slight damage in the form of tears at the bottom as seen in pictures and rubbing to the outer edges.
The inner pages are aged but overall clean- some pages are colored in some not, however, that doesn't interfere with the text, pictures or early Disney magic.
It measures 15 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches.
It's a nice copy of a very collectible early piece of Disneyana
In addition to illustrated story books, comics albums and 'movie story books' by David McKay Co., the earliest Mickey Mouse publications also include two coloring books by Saalfield Co.: Mickey Mouse Coloring Book and Mickey Mouse Pictures to Paint, both of which came out in the summer of 1931.
