This 1938 hard cover book was published by Grosset & Dunlap, New York.
The beige and red cloth cover is in good condition with some signs of age and rubbing on the edges.
There is a pencil inscription inside the front cover with the original owners name-
'Howard Ryan, Bartlett Rd, Norwich, NY"
Howard was also a bit of a artist and made two pencil sketches on the inside covers-
one of a horse and one of a lady- both actually quiet good!!
Otherwise no other markings.
The binding is good and remains tight. There is a small tear on the page adjacent to the table of contents as seen in pictures and probably caused by use.
Overall, the book is in good condition, considering it's age, and measures approximately 5 1/4" x 7 1/2"
