This unique green wood handle Androck pastry cutter or pie dough blender has a long handle that fits very nicely in the hand. The handle is painted green and has six steel prongs for blending butter or shortening into the flour to form a tender pastry dough like grandma used to make.

It is marked Androck Made in USA Pat. 1735236 on the metal side

These classic style wooden kitchen utensils make wonderful accent pieces in farmhouse, rustic, or mid century retro kitchen decors. Display it alone or with other vintage kitchen utensils, such as in a stoneware crock, bowl, or basket.

The pastry cutter is in very good condition.Some age appropriate wear, such as small scratches, but no dents or rust to the metal. The blade some minor patina. The wooden handle has no cracks or splits and but slight rubbing of paint due to use and age adding to it's vintage charm.

Size is approximately 5-3/4 inches long x 4-1/4 inches across blades. Prongs are approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter at widest point.

Androck was a successful line of kitchen gadgets into the 1940’s with their colorful red, yellow and green Catalin plastic handles. Production halted for a bit during WWII while the Washburn Co. produced items for the war effort. The company made all kinds of kitchen gadgets; nut choppers, onion choppers and more.
Androck is a great collectible. Their items from the 30’s through the 50’s are some of the most collected items
