Vintage Yellow Sunbeam Electric Wall Clock No 428A
This is a really nice Mid-Century clock made by Sunbeam in their 428A series, which dates to the 1970s. What a retro look with "blocks" for the hour numbers mounted atop the golden sunny yellow body, and a "sun dial" setting off the center behind stubby black hands. A clear, round "dome" covers the hands. All plastic and sooo mod, sooo cool!
I tried it out and it keeps perfect time. Sunbeam was one of the better makers of these clocks!
Its original label on the back gives a great deal of information including the model, patent numbers and maker information.
Superb and just waiting for a good wall to hang out on!
It is absolutely terrific with only a very few, very light surface scuffs. Even the hanging hole on the back shows little, if any, use! There is NO color fading or staining; NO cracks, chips or splits anywhere. The white electric cord is in working condition
