The cobalt floral design is large and covers the entire front of the crock nicely.
The handles are intact and without cracks.
There are no chips or cracks throughout but a bit of sloughing of the salt glaze on the bottom right front can be seen in photos.

A great historical and decorative piece!
American Stoneware is a type of stoneware pottery popular in 19th century North America. The vernacular term "crocks" is often used to describe this type of pottery
Antique stoneware crocks once played an integral role in kitchens by allowing foods like butter to be stored and pickled vegetables to be made in watertight containers before the invention of refrigeration. They were usually covered in a salt glaze and often decorated using cobalt oxide to produce bright blue decoration. Today, antique crocks are a decorative collector's item loved by many.
